The Ohio Connection

David Catrow attended Kent State University.
Since 1984, Catrow has been an editorial cartoonist for the Springfield News-Sun, in Springfield, Ohio.
Catrow was also a freelance illustrator for Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon-Journal.

The WOSU Stations, in partnership with the Ohioana Library,
and with support from the Ohio Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities, developed Ohioana Authors.

The mission of the Ohioana Library Association is to recognize and encourage the creative accomplishments of Ohioans, to preserve and to expand a permanent archive of books, sheet music, manuscripts, and other materials by Ohioans and about Ohio, and to disseminate information about the work of Ohio writers, musicians, and other artists to researchers, schools, and the general public.
